New here?

Let’s get to know each other.

First things first.

Who am I?

I’m Sadie- mama to four babies. Pippa Noelle, age six and Zion Bear, age two. Tiny one in heaven and Emory Yael, our sweet girl born in 2016 to heaven. Wife to Nate, a helicopter pilot and coffee expert. We have experienced grave loss and trials from being hit by a drunk driver in a severe car crash, resulting in many broken bodies and hospital stays, to walking the road of stillbirth, miscarriage and secondary infertility. Along the way we have lost and found hope, trudged deep waters of intense pain and built a life of seeking light, community and creativity. We adore travel, outdoor adventures, a good book and a gourmet cup of coffee (or cocktail, let’s be honest). We homeschool our kids, navigating sensory processing disorders and high needs, while trying to daily create a home full of authentic kindness, inspiration and encouragement.

Who is this blog for?

Everyone!

If you are reading this, then somehow you landed in this small corner of the internet for a reason. Maybe you need new homeschool ideas. Maybe you need gluten-free and dairy free easy dinner recipes. Maybe you need to throw a last minute party and want creative ideas. Maybe you have experienced a miscarriage or stillbirth and are craving a sliver of hope, understanding or light. Maybe you are just needing some tangible hope, practical parenting ideas or have no clue how to parent a high- needs infant. Maybe you are walking through infertility or know someone who is. Maybe you need a way to decorate your mantle, make a gourmet cocktail and find a way to relate to your friends while you deal with PTSD. Whatever the reason, however you landed here, whatever you need- I am glad you are here and I hope you find what you are looking for.
